One bolt on each side, how does that equal 4 bolts? NOTE TO ALL FORDIFICATION PEOPLE---- Ryan actually is acing the hardest math classes his school has to offer. How he came up with 1+1=4 is beyond my comprehension.
hmmm possiblly 1 + 1 + (1+1)=4 or in other words 2 for the cross member on frame and two for the transmission.
But of course none of that is valid if the transmission isnt in there and if im not thinking right and there is only one bolt to the tramsission
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can. http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u223/imabaka70/ Projects listed on the left side

I was just figuring 2 bolts per 2 different trucks = 4... but that was just assuming that he had to take it out of both trucks.
Good to know he is doing good in school.

I'm not "Brand Loyal" Ford-Chevy-Dodge-Toyota I have them all, one even cross mixed...
If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

Length doesn't automatically dictate a two piece shaft, but racing (atleast high speed stuff) pretty much makes you take a firmer stance on driveline rules.
From a true desert race perspective neither a 6 foot driveline nor a two piece driveline would be acceptable. The ideal setup would be 60" or less single so that means either a shorter wheelbase or moving the engine back.
I'd say that's why you usally see short bed trucks used...

well gee the other truck's crossmember isnt going to pop itself out.
dad say this slow, 2 bolts on one truck, + 2 bolts on another truck = 4.
