I thought maybe I would take the time to slap a few more pics of my truck up. I remember when I started I thought it would go really quick. Almost 2 years into it now, and a few dollars invested as well
Anyway, the floor on my first bed was as crooked as a dog's hind leg so it got scrapped, the bottom cross members on the above bed (#2) basically vaporized after being sandblasted, so now I am on box number 3.
This is before I did anything to it, looked really good and unlike the first 2 was basically rust free. However after peeling the paint off there was more body filler than I have ever seen, in some spots more than 3/4 of an inch. I have decided my truck is cursed and is fighting me all the way.
Part of the reason this is taking forever is I keep adding stuff. Like shaved drip rails
Bigger wheel tubs

This is my favorite touch, because it is a modification I have never seen so it may be the most (and only) original mod I have done to my truck. We filled the hole for the 72 running light with the point of a bumpside off some old front fenders. Pic isn't the best but I think it is cool
This is my ugly mug looking rough after 2- 12 hour days on the truck. had to stand there to hold the tailgate up because the shaved latch needs to be bolted in..
Hope you like 'em, more to come soon. I am determined to have it painted by April. Next up, Mustang tank and finish frame.
