yes the remake was never as good as the first one. i watched a tv special about the orginal movie a few years ago. and it told alot about the man who made the movie and how he past on while making another similar movie. they still have the original elenor. all beat to heck.
I seen the same special i think, His wife was selling copys of the movie and talking about things that happined during filming at commericals. Has anyone noticed the rabbit ears screwed to the roof of billys caddy ? I when back to look a second time and LMAO when i seen that.
I shoulda' remembered that, I'm old enough.
I thought the original movie had an RT charger in it getting hit on some railroad tracks?
Thanks!

Basketcase, I think ive seen that one, I cant remember the name of the movie your talking about but peter fonda was the driver and drove into a train at the end and the car exploded. If he had made it accross the tracks he would have been free from what i remember if were talking about the same movie.

"Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" was the movie. The remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds" was high dollar trash. The original storyline was whitewashed to make it PC.
