To FORD or not to FORD
Just a poll to see what you think about having or removing the F O R D on the front of the hood

Keep them. Funny you should ask.
Had a dream that someone stole all the crome off the 68.

Re: To FORD or not to FORD
Id say keep them. I had them off of mine for years (took them off to get ready for paint and lost them, ordered new ones and then found them. Put the old ones back on, still no paint). I think it looks much better with them on there.

Re: To FORD or not to FORD
I had mine of for a few jears but I ended up putting them back on. I was going for the 'smoothe' look by filling the body seames and so on but never finished. I think it could look good but only if you removed the other hood emblems as well.

I'm in favor of the "stock" look myself. But I can also appreciate a lot of the modified Bumps I've seen too.

Re: To FORD or not to FORD
I believe that the hood letters are a key element of Bumpside styling. Especially the 1967 letters!

Re: To FORD or not to FORD
I take all the ford emlems off when I restore a GH truck (Except the 66 and 65 I leave the front one on for some reason). Just makes it look cleaner.
