So I got a call today from the manager of the local love's truck stop. I ut in an application about a week ago to be a tire and maintenance technician there. My interview is tommorow. If I get this job I will be able to put more money into my bumps.
Does anyone have some good advice on previous job interviews that worked to get you hired?

offer the guy free beer and hookers if you get the job. that may make him laugh or it may make him not hire you. it depends on what kind of person he or she is.
make sure to wear a nice pressed shirt and tie and a nice pair of slacks or dress pants. clean shaved. show up about 15 minute before the interview.
even though you are only interviewing for a tire and maintenance. dress for success they will look at that as being that you want something better. also make sure to keep good posture during the interview this is a sign of confidence that most interviews look for.
these are all things that i look at when i assist my supervisor in the interview process.
one more thing Good Luck and get a good night sleep aswell to make sure you are fully rested so you are on your A game

I think everyone has covered it. Only thing I can add is be open to pay. You can always move up over time. Good luck on your interview.

tell them you are NOT afraid to ask questions if you are not sure of something
firm, commanding hand shake
ask questions about the job
thats all i've got for now. worked for me
Good advice Mr. Hog I do a lot of hiring and this pretty much sums it up for me, especially the firm handshake. A weak, limp handshake sends a strange chill up my spine

Thanks everyone for your great advice. I feel like the interview went incredibly well. I find out tommorrow if I have a second interview. If I do I am just about guaranteed the job. I have to take a urine test. But that aint a sweat. I have a bump to spend money on and not drugs..
