I am biased since I have a 71 but I still think the 71 SportCustom has the prettiest grill of all of them. I wish the inserts were not plastic but I still think they are the prettiest. I like them all though. I do not like the wide Ranger belt line trim on any of the trucks though. There is another belt line trim that is thinner than the 71 Sportcustom I really like and I think that model or trim level has the different molding on the bottom that is different than the so called Race track trim my truck has. I like that trim level also. Too much info?

I voted 70 because that's what I have, although the 71 grille inserts are starting to grow on me.

68's used to be my favorites, but after owning a 70 with a real straight grille i fell in love with that old egg crate look. plus the 70 still has old three spoke steering wheel and you could get a 302.

I think '72, and yes, probably because I have one. I didn't know much about bump side trucks until I got one, but I like the '72 grille more than the prior years; actually I think I like it because it looks more like the '73-'77 which I am really partial to.

I like the 68-69 looks the best mostly because of the grill, and the little ranger emblem that was an option on them!

67 had the one year parts that set them apart
68 and 69 have that tough look with the metal grill
the 70s had the power but they shouldent have taken away the metal grill
