Thanks for being civil. I don't see where anyone is defending Paul, merely happy that he has shown up to tell us what is going on. We 'know' nothing except what has been said by Paul. Is it plausible, yes. Is it excusable, maybe. As said above, this 'hatred and anger' is the result of no communication. I have a very hard time condemning someone out of hand anymore, too many times assuming things has made an big hairy donkey out of me...

What is done is done, try to move forward.

I ordered a harness and I'm entitled to vote on this. I'm supporting Paul. I vote "wait".

It needs to go away IMO. The site has always been a family site-not an X rated site.
The man's said his peace for those willing to listen-I did and do have a sympathetic heart, as I have "been there-done that". She also left me with little Paul. :(
For those of you that are relatively new to the site...please realize this.
Myself as well as several of the members who have been here for many years consider Fordification home. Therefore our family is completely aware of our presence here, and can also be monitoring us via here? Long after they have left our lives!
Hence a "gag" order!
The same awesome site where our buddies are-can actually harm us? :hmm:

 I have no part in this one way or another. I agree with what 71 Highboy is saying, about there should be a plan in place to make this right. I can see where Paul is coming from seeing how I have been through the ringer myself. My :2cents: is yes there was a lynch mob out there, but I believe the initial post should have been worded a little better. Not once was there a My Bad or an I apologize in that. I think that would have blown the coals out instead of igniting a fire. Coming in with guns a blazing wasn't the best of plans here. Than the follow up comments probably would have been taken better if they where better worded. The bottom line Paul is wrong, he needs to make it right. It takes a lot of guts to get back on here and try to explain. But he has said he is going to try to make it right I hope he does and I hope this forum gets back to G rated and everyone finds a way to get along!

Lock er down. This seems to be what PMs are for. I believe Paul will come through. Like I said once before....A grudge will blacken the heart, and burn the sole. Or something like that.

Please read in entirety. I will say up front that I MEAN NO DISRESPECT TO ANYONE HERE AND IM NOT TRYING TO MAKE ANYONE TO BE A TROUBLEMAKER OR ANYTHING.

Guys I have no horse in this race but we dont live this guys life every day. We cant say what he could or would do. We dont know his thoughts. We can only speak for ourselves. I dont think it necessarily takes the phrase Im sorry to apologize. Least he was man enough to come back and post to let people know his general intentions. I never been in his shoes, but Ive seen alot of times other people were ready to lynch me for doing what was the best I could. The best closest thing I ever had like this was I owed a man for a grille for my truck. He told me pay when I got the money. Hard times hit, and despite my best intentions and attempts, I couldnt pay him for over 2 years. I finally took the money and an apology and he had forgotten. Told me he really appreciated me being honest enough to pay up. I never planned to cheat him. Maybe this man doesnt plan to cheat anyone either. I understand being upset over money, but I also understand that under certain legal situations there is no extra to pay out to people or obligations. I dont know his bills may well exceed his income. Where is there extra money there to make good if you cant even pay your bills? Online dealing is a risky business anyways. At least you guys arent scammed by a person you never heard from again. He is talking to you to make intentions known. As far as getting to internet to let you know earlier, I would be in the same boat if I were out of a vehicle and money. I never pass a place with free internet access to and from work. Id have to go out of my way too by several miles. By time I could get home from work and get there the library would be closed. Know if I were in his shoes noone would come get me to bring me to library or other place to get on the net. Not trying to make him ot to be perfect or fault free here, but none of us know exactly whats going on in his life. No 2 legal cases are exactly the same so we cant base off our own lives to say this is right from him and the other is not. Give him a chance. If he dont deliver, then I can see being upset, but give him another shot. Above all lets leave the big killer personas and cursing and hatred other places. I see enough other places. I mess up and use language I shouldnt and please forgive me for that, but these guys are right. It dont make our posts any better or us more in control or more right. All this I say to say this....

God be with this gentleman and help him to make the right decisions and live up to his promises. Please help him through his troubles and tribulations. Also, be with the rest of us to always love our fellow man and leave our temper off this little site.

Guys we all need to get along here. We got a great little site here with many great members. Lets keep it going. All this upset and stuff may drive our site to ruin. Lets not allow that. Sorry to be long winded, but I had to get that off my chest. I consider all people here friends.

This has not gone well, the whole thing is taking up a tremendous amount of time and energy from the site.

I'm not taking any sides or saying anyone is right or wrong, I have no dog in the fight except to the extent of what this has done to the site that I care a great deal about and which has helped me and countless others share information about the trucks that bring us all together.

Tempers are already back up and the whole thing is getting a little raw again, so here is what is going to happen:
  • I'm going to lock this at least until morning if not tomorrow night for a cooling off period.
  • When I open it back up I want the folks with a dog in the fight (read Money) to feel free to post again in it and we'll let it go on as long as it remains civil.
The warnings have already been given, so anyone lobbing unfounded accusations at anyone else is going to get some formal warnings at best.

So let me state it clearly, if you didn't send money for a headlight harness or raffle then move along and see if you can answer some truck questions for someone.

So, the indignant man appears...allright, 390Nut...

I had accepted responsibility for my comments and, apologized in this forum to ALL members
who may have been unfairly and/or badly affected by my strong words. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =2&t=60948
That included you even though you were still MIA. I am not surprised that you don't acknowledge or accept my
apology because you offer none for yourself. So, be it, . Instead, you cuss me out, but,
like everything else you have or haven't done about this lately, your actions and timing
are way off.

You finally, and way late, show yourself, take no responsibility for what you've done, you
play the victim and make a pity party case, offer an apology to Keith for your shortcomings.
offer no apology to those whose money you took, and, cuss out the people who feel ripped
off. Really?

We had no part in your 'life sucks happening'. You pulled us into your
problems. Our only history with you has been unpleasant. How can you not get that? My
guess is that you may actually think that you are blameless.

Keeping it real, my reality is:
This was a business transaction and you did not deliver.
I directly sent you money. You know who and where I am.
You did not need internet access to contact me. A short I'm In Deep DooDoo note might have
done the trick. Then I could have kept on sayin positive stuff like what I said here
http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... a&start=30

It is almost comical that one of the four members who you thank, that "they had something
POSITIVE to say" was the member who mentioned your past shady dealing and was instrumental
in my attitude change. By the way, shady dealing is a huge understatement of your deal. In
a shady deal, at worst, the buyer gets something for their money, usually not what they
expected. Your deal got the buyer nothing. You got the money, gave nothing in return, and
resent being called on it.

Your rant also mentioned your indifference to the law and you threatened other members with it.
Consider that you took a lot of peoples' money and sent nothing. That is fraud. Since you did an internet solicitation, it
is internet fraud. That is something sheriffs may not deal with. The one's that do, more
likely have agent after their name. I suggest you zip your lip until you can be humble.

You may not like what others have said about you, but, your rants just may escalate this
thing to where many here really do not want to see it go. I am in no way threatening you
with anything. Just sending along some advice. Take it or leave it.

I, and others, did business with you based on the trust you earned with other members here.
Turns out you went MIA, not reaching out to or responding to anything or anyone, whether
they were a newbie here or a long time member. That was your responsibility. You tossed
away the trust. You could have contacted someone if it was important to you.

Paul, tell you what...I'll take some of what you say at face value. Regardless, take my
name out of your harness 'to some day send' list and, toss it onto your one less thing to
do' list....Sorry to say, but, since you consider yourself gutter bound, you may no longer
be able to build the "quality" harness that you had, in the past, earned a solid rep for
here.

Send me my money, you have my address. To be clear...return my myoney within 14 days of
this post(August24, 2011).

Now that I am just about done with this, in parting, I wish,
that on your rocky road ahead, you find new found strength and some fortune...

i do agree about all of the swear words that 390 nut posted.almost every sentence has a bad word in it and you would think that he would respect the site and not come off like he is the victim. it seems to me that just because he is or was along time member of the site that those that know him have to back him up and i find that very sad. :2cents:
