How long until bump withdrawals start?

Post by tnbumper »

I just got this SWB a month ago, an upgraded V-8 over my other bump with a 6. So I put the 6 on ebay and sold it. But at the end of the auction 3 people wanted it. One of the interested parties contacted me and asked me to retract the bid and sell it to him. Which I wouldn't do nor would want anyone do to me. I told him about my 'new' truck that I hadnt thought about selling and got to the point of if you were to sell it what would you take. Needless to say I priced it, he negotiated, and it's leaving tomorrow. I've had my eye on another for about 3 years and just this week the house and cars were cleaned out! But know where one more SWB is that Im going to have to ask about. How long can I go before having bump withdrawals?

Sometimes, immediately and sometimes it takes longer to feel the pain of separation. It depends on you and your attachment.

It's like any relationship that ends...elation that your free, sorrow for the loss, fear of the unknown and 'what's gonna happen to me?' types of feelings.

After the end of any relationship, NEVER jump into a new one! Wait, take your time, think all things through S-L-O-W-L-Y...

Am I talkin' about Ford Trucks - OR - Women? ...guess there's NO difference... Just DON'T end up with some slutty old Ford Truck you wouldn't take home to meet your Mama...oh the shame, lotsa FUN, but loads of regrets latter...think what the neighbors will say when they see that type of truck parked at your house...they'll be whispering behind your back...

People who say things like, "if you were to sell it what would you take" usually don't follow through. Until your truck(s) roll away, the deal isn't finalized.

The few times that's been said to me, I responded with, "Make me an offer I can't refuse." They couldn't or wouldn't make it worth my while to sell my "whatever" that wasn't for sale anyway.

There's a strong chance that this "if you were to sell it what would you take" person won't ever show up.

And sometimes shouting out a number you think is high to make a guy leave you alone can bite you in the butt.

The neighbors that would do this have moved to Missouri. Down in the Ozarks. May they be very happy living there. I know I'm happy they're living there! :D

You sure said that right. Sold a perfect 86 F150 4x4 that way. Had about 80k on it and in perfect condition. Guy said how much and I tossed out what I thought would scare him off and he jumped on it. I sure wish I had that truck today.
