You can E-Mail me from RangerXLT.com.

Please include your FORDification user name, the last date that you were able to log in and an exact description of what happens when you try to log in.

Hey Robert, after talking to Larry (Forest Bump), he cannot even access the forums to READ this post you made. Its not that he cannot log in (which he cant), but he cannot even access the site at all. Again, this is only one person we are talking about that I know of, but if he cannot access the site, then Im sure there are others. I could not access the site from my work computers on Monday and Tuesday of this week either, but somehow I was able to on Wednesday. Larry's security settings are going off constantly everytime he tries to visit any part of the Fordification forums.

Just saying that if Larry is having that problem, there are probably others and they are not going to be able to read this thread to let you know anything...

Hi Calfdemon,

Yes I understood that about Larry (oddly enough, the forum is recognizing his login because his profile says his last activity was yesterday) but there is at least one member who can view as a guest but his login isn't recognized. The only way we know is that he was able to contact another member who then contacted us.

Just trying to give another option.

I should also mention that until we are able to contact Keith, there is little we can do to actually fix it. I'm very afraid we are going to loose some information/post permenantly, but I don't know that for certain.

If you can contact larry, could you ask him to try running a scan on his computer and try to get some greater detail on what the security software/settings is telling him. You can aslo ask him to E-Mail me from my site.

He (or anyone else) should be able to use any one of a number of free online scans from Norton, McAffee, Kaspersky and so forth.

I'm back on!

Thanks for your help Robert. Clearing cache and deleting my temporary files and cookies seems to have done the trick.

Thanks also to you Rich for letting Robert know of my problems of not being able to log in which prompted Robert's email to me.

All threads I've posted to do not show a 'star' and my online status is not showing up either but at least I'm able to log in.

Thank You all again.

You are welcome gentlemen.

I've heard from a number of other folks that can't log in for various reasons. I am not sure what is going on.

Update: Red Stars next to posts I've responded to just started reappearing today  "One small step for man, one giant leap for FORDification kind"

My online status and all other members that are online are still not showing up though...sorry if it appears I'm whining as I know Keith is probably tearing his hair out to resolve these issues.

Thanks Keith and all Mods

No probs logging in. Those who are having probs should follow your instructions, but you forum keepers should scan the server for destructive spyders...had a disgruntled student in one my college classes not long ago who loaded a bad spyder on our class server...wreaked a lot of havoc cause he targeted names of those he did not like. And since I'm in prof mode...use WHO rather than THAT when referring to humans...antecedent/pronoun disagreement...minus 3 points.

Robert, I just got logged back in. I had to come in thru Bing. If I use the fordification link in my favorites, it won't let me log in. Also if I use yahoo, my search engine of choice, it wont let me log in. WTH? Haven't tried google yet...

I'll see how long it runs for me this go around. Im willing to bet it will run fine for 5 or 10 min. then start locking up on me.

I can access the home page but can't get in to see any posts on my lap top. On the kids computer I can access the site. When I do get on I can't see who is logged on and sometimes it says that I can't see posts at this time. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks

Took me a long time to finally log-in again and was finally able to post a few days ago. I had to re-set my password.
