still kicking

Post by Mancar1 »

Just thought I would say hello. Havn't been on much as of late. Lot going on in life. Lady friend, caring for Mom, a sister, and managing the cemetery. Busy, but great life. Staying busy helps keep me young.
Has anyone heard from Woods as of late? Haven't heard from him for a while. I know he was caring for his dad a while back.
Still have the 68. Installed a new stereo system, and have my headliner done, need to install it. Did it in wood panel.
Today, after services, I do believe I will do something for myself. Work on the 68.
Take it easy and enjoy life. My late wife, Vicki, always said. "I am going to enjoy life to the fullest, because I don't know how many days I have left." She never complained and was always happy. Vicki was seriously ill from 1981 until her death in July 2011. She was always there for those in need. What a fine Lady. I will always love, and miss her until we meet again.

Good to hear you're doing well, John. Hope your friends are caring for you like you're caring for others in your life. Difficult to serve with an empty tank, so to speak.

Glad to hear from you again, John! I'd love to see a pic of your headliner. Thought about doing that myself.

Mr John, it is good to hear that you are doing good.
You are correct we don't know how many days/years we have left,
so we need to live each day for Jesus.

Check back in when you have a few minutes.
