Thanks, Randy! I am very proud, and very nervous all at the same time. Proud because it's been a long road, (with a lot more road to go), and nervous because you're never really sure how well your bodywork is until that clear goes on. Clear coat doesn't lie, it will highlight everything you missed or didn't think was a big deal.
So I've started ordering everything I'm going to need so start putting things back together. I got my first box of goodies from Dennis Carpenter last night. (weatherstripping kit, fender seals, hinge springs, etc.) This stage of the build is going to get expensive, quick!
I am close to making a decision on seat cover/carpet/headliner/visor/steering wheel and column colors. I ordered some carpet samples from Stock Interiors because I'm not sure what color interior I'm going to go with yet. I ordered samples of the 80/20 loop type carpet, as I think it fits the era of the truck the best. I held my door panels back from paint (using the non-ranger panels - like the look better), as I'm not exactly sure if they'll be body color or some interior accent color.
Has anyone used a headliner from Stock Interiors? Reviews on the site sound pretty good, but none are from bump owners.
