Tyler, few things:
1. Your white Ford f150 is nice! Like the Saleen/Roush wheels!
2. Your shop is amazing! Blows my 30x30 away but I won't take mine for granted.
3. Your project is AMAZING!!! Really motivates me to continue my 67.
Keep up the great work man!!!

Thanks Pat! I love it too! The thought of seeing the whole thing together out in the sun is pure motivation!67nukeford wrote:That is such an awesome blue, Tyler!
Randy, thanks for the compliment! It's awesome that I can help others - just returning some favors!sargentrs wrote:It's uncanny how you always do what I need to and post the pics and information I need, about 6 months before I'm there. Great work and thanks for the tips!
Thanks Roger! It's a 2005 SC, and has a few upgrades as you can tell. I special ordered it, and it was built on my 28th birthday. I don't drive it a whole lot lately and only has 42k on it so far. Those are 23" Saleen wheels from their S331. Yes, I know that sounds huge to some, but I think they actually fit the truck well. It's funny that I'm ordering 15's for the '69, but hey - it's what fits the personality of the vehicle, not just what the trend of the moment is.Wueras67 wrote:Tyler, few things:

Thank you very much for the compliments on the shop and project, and no, DO NOT take yours for granted. I climbed the walls of a small house in the city, saving for this one for 12 years. I really enjoy every hour I get out there. Walk in, flip on the lights, crank up the stereo, I'm in a zone, I love it.
It's a little cluttered but hey - I'm working here!

That SC looks great! No, those 23's fit the truck perfectly!! Yeah I know what you mean as far as the shop goes. I've worked my way up too. Keep us posted on the progress of your 69! I'll stay tuned!

You should clear coat your booster. Just put a new one from O'Reilly's, and is spotting with surface rust already!

Thanks for the tip, Davin! I plan on priming it and painting it cast iron grey, this was just a test fit.

Hey Jerry, I know I missed the page 25 prediction for the windshield install, but hey - it's in!!
My brother came over Saturday and helped me get the weatherstripping installed, and the windshield put in. Seriously, what a pain in the butt that was!
And this is what I worked on yesterday...

Sorry I wasn't more clear, I didn't buy it, I'm building it from scratch. I did all the wire and end item lists, mock-up, design, and jig board fabrication. This is harness #1, (the main harness) there will be 5 other smaller harnesses to complete the electrical install. Now before you judge- I'm an electrical design engineer, so this is kinda my thing!Cipher43 wrote:Where is that harness from?

Where did you get the lengths for each wire and where they go for building your own? The harness in my truck has seen better days so this may be an option I have to consider.tylerb43 wrote:Sorry I wasn't more clear, I didn't buy it, I'm building it from scratch. That's sweet Tyler. I am nervous about installing a universal harness in a couple of weeks, I can't imagine doing it from scratch.
