I used some Meguiar's vinyl cleaner on the dash pad. Wow! It makes quite a difference.

I also cleaned the windscreen so I can see where I'm going :D

You know those little rubber caps that go on the end of your visor stems? I made a new pair of those. I'll post pics when I can find a camera... easier than I thought, and reasonably original looking.

I removed the worn out 3.03 and installed a used granny transmission . I had a family emergency so I wasn't able to make car show so I made up for it with transmission swap.

Tracked down and terminated some electrical gremlins plaguing Frankie, my 68 F100 bump trailer.
I hate electrical issues. :x

Put new sideboards on the dump, now it's time to see what's grinding, the flywheel or the starter.

bled the brakes on the f100. the dot 5 that came out still looked and smelled brand new. i didn't keep any though. i love the one way bleeder screws i installed. and my bleeder screws are so easy to turn. thank god for dot 5.
fixed the engine miss i had. traced it to a loose plug wire. then i discovered i have a lifter tick now. :x

gutted the interior of the f250 except for the dash. sterilizing the sheet metal inside with bleach. need to do another bleaching tomorrow. apparently the f250 used to be a dog pen. i tried to save the carpet which looked brand spanking new but had pee stank. i steam cleaned it and soaked it with about $60 worth of products after removing it from the truck to no avail. still stank horribly.

redesigned the bracket i created for my friends 1987 f150. i redesigned the bottom to fit the 91 f250 and picked up steel and dropped the design and steel off and a buddies who is welding it up for me.
my friend is also welding up a bracket i designed for the f100 so i can throw a bench seat in there too as soon as he is done with the first bracket. i'm thinking i'm going to go with the new silverado center console that has the seat with storage and 3 cup holders. it seems cool. either that or the new dodge center console.

picked up a brown 40/20/40 dodge split bench to go in the f250 that is in great shape for $50. steam cleaned the heck out of it while i was steam cleaning everything else.

my new carpet and headliner just arrived.

i need to stay busy i got too much uninstalled car stuff in boxes crowding my floor space :help:

Found what was making the grinding noise upon startup. There was only 2 bolts holding the starter in and they had come loose. The top bolt is a bitch to get to as you know, so either the PO didn't put it in, or it fell out, the other 2 were backed out quite abit. I put in a new bolt on top and tightened the other 2. Problem solved.

Been spending a lot of time making little kids smile, big kids smile and Prius owners cringe.

Truck runs great, got my tach hooked up and am only turning 1800 rpm at 75 mph. Put over 1000 miles on it the last two months and it get better gas mileage than my '05 Lincoln LS. Slowly getting the tune where I want it and fixed my oil leaks when I replaced the valve cover caskets when adjusting the valves.
