I'm replacing the front brake hoses on my '71 F-100.
I bought brake hose UP 36531 from NAPA Auto Parts (That's what was recommended), but when I tried to put in on, the spindle would not allow me to thread the line into the brake hub.
The metal part of the brake hose would come in contact with the spindle, and I couldn't get it connected.
When I put the old brake hose next to the new one, I could see the metal cylinder part of the new hose was about 1/4" bigger than the old one.
Any suggestions on replacement hose?

Re: Which Front Brake Hose for '71 F-100
Well. I returned the NAPA brake hoses and bought LMC hoses (twice as expensive) to see if they'd work.
They didn't. So I had to mail them back for a refund.
I bought the NAPA brake hoses again and ground the cylinder down until it cleared the spindle.
Hopefully it'll work now. I won't really know until I put it all back together.
