Has anyone used these poly cab & body mounts?

Post by Bryan_Tenn »

Summit has these for what seems like a decent price. All the reviews say they aren't exactly OEM (no *hit!) but fit & work well

It looks like 4 of them have metal sleeves inside them, our factory mounts use a sleeved washer on the top & bottom, don't they?

I don't guess it will matter though as long as there's a sleeved bushing in the top one. It says 12 total but for cab only. If my math is right 4 on the front & 4 on the rear is 8. Are the other 4 for the radiator mount?

I hope so because I don't plan on replacing the rear ones, just the front cab mounts & radiator support mounts, & the leftover ones will be used on something somewhere someday.

Any input or feedback would be appreciated

Those are for the 4wd applications and they do include radiator support bushings. I bought the 2wd application for my '70. The upper donut was an exact match to the OEM. The lower donut was a slightly different shape, tapered on the bottom half and thinner, but definitely useable with a little shorter bolt. I was able to salvage my original hardware tube/washers, just shorter bolts.

sarge, summits website is kind of hard to navigate as far as telling whats what. Can you tell me the part# or send me a link to the 2WD ones I need?

I can't really salvage any of my hardware, actually had to cut out the drivers side cab mount. But thats okay I will get new bolts

well I ordered them from another supplier on ebay for the same price summit was wanting on their website. I managed to salvage 2 of my original sleeved washers for the bottom & made 2 for the top, looks like they will work fine. I'm not ready to install them yet, I'm getting some plates made to weld to my frame where its rusted out where the cab mounts go.

3" diameter with 1.75" inner hole. Had to make some where the core support mounts also.
