Heidts universal crossmember

Has anyone put in one of their universal crossmember in a 67-72 f100. At work I am currently working on a 68 c10 that has one and I'm admiring it. I am strongly considering picking one up. I assumed I need the 60 inch (to cold to go measure)? Part of what draws me to this front end set up they offer narrowed upper and lower control arm. Has anyone used those and notice a difference? Or is it just a gimmick?

I cannot say about the Heidts cross member in this application. However I can say that we used their sub frame connector on a recent 72 Camaro restore and it was impressive. The fit and finish of the product was top notch.
