wheels sizes and backspacing......

Hello,

I have done a quick search and don't see a thread going with good info on wheel sizes and backspacing that will work on our trucks. Many people run differing sizes of wheels, so I thought this would be really good info. Obviously the more detailed everyone puts up the better.


My 1970 SWB has for now stock suspension, I have 15x10" rear wheels with 275/60/15's. The front is 15x8" with 235/70/15's. I don't know the backspacing, but will post that up next time I take the wheels and tires off.


I soon will be lowering the truck with dropped beams and the shackle/bracket kit I bought. Hoping to swap on 20x10 and 18x8 rims and tires. What backspacing will I need? Anyone with good experience care to share info on this?
