69 f250 2x4 flex brake line to diff

Post by 66f250cs »

Anybody ever replace the rubber flex hose that goes to the distribution block that is mounted to the differential? Got a part number? The hose is attached to the frame via the two fingered clip on the supply end and I think screws into the distribution block. I say I think because there isn't a hex to wrench onto.
Also, I am looking for a right side parking brake cable. One end is connected to the "splitter", the other end comes in at an angle to the carrier plate with the end of the cable attaching to the parking brake lever. Thanks.

I replaced my '72 F250's hose with a Wagner F55581 a few years ago. Unfortunately, last I checked this part wasn't being made any longer (mine was left over from a long-ago project). And that might be just as well, since the distribution block was close, but not a perfect match. Since I was installing new brake lines on the rear end anyways, this didn't prevent me from using the part.

There are photos of the F55581 near the bottom of this post.
