Neutral Safety Switch - Question

Post by Saxcrazy69 »

I need to replace the part/toggle on the lower steering column that activates the neutral safety switch as mine has sheared off. My question is, Do I need to disassemble the entire column to replace this part or is it possible to remove it from the column with it still installed in the truck? The neutral safety switch is fine, no problems with it. It is the toggle leg that extends up out of the column and engages with the switch that needs replacing. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Pulled the column out of my donor truck and got the part from it that I need for the other truck. Now, if I can just replace the part without disassembling the entire column to do it. Still need to remove the broken one from the column before I install the good part. Any ideas??
