Suggestions - Power steering slip

Has anyone else experianced this problem. I just finished my my 69 f100, and during the build installed a complete 1978 power steering set up.
It works great but, but when I get into the throttle the motor revs up faster then the pump can handle, causing the belt to drag over the pulley and squeal. I have tightened the belt and was thinking of reducing the pulley size on pump if I can find one.

Assuming you have the right width of belt, I've seen pulleys worn enough to cause belt slip.
1967 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
Another 67 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
2016 F-150 Eco-Boost 2.7 liter. (It will smoke the tires!)
1972 F-350 Sport Custom cab & chassis.
1972 F-250 Explorer Special, Camper Special.
1971 F-100 custom. 302, C-4, p.s. p.b. factory 65 amp alternator with transistorized voltage regulator.

My pulley is in great shape, and belt is tensioned properly. It seems like the pump just can not speed up as fast as the motor at wide open throttle.
Has any one else had this problem, and what were your solutions.

It takes very little power to turn a power steering pump unless your actively turning. If it slips during a WOT situation which typically doesn't involve turning, you're simply overlooking something basic.
