Hello Ford fans - I'm new to this site.
I have a 1970 F100 Sport Custom. I will be checking in regularly for ideas and experienced input. I'm looking forward to many more Q and A's from this great resource - for us Ford guys.
First question: I'm planning on installing the DJM 3/4 drop kit. With that I have a set of 17x8 Ford Bullit wheels I want to use. Does any one have any ideas what tire size or sizes I could use? I'm looking for the staggered stance - bigs and littles.
Thanks for your input in advance!

Them Bullitt wheels aren't gonna fit unless you run adapters or do a front CV or MII IFS and rear pattern to match. With that said, can't really answer your question with 17s... The max width in the back is about a 10-inch wide tire section where wheel backspacing has to be spot-on.

Awesome - great heads up.
Those Bullitt wheels are new - still in the boxes. Looks like Craigslist or swap meet is the next stop for them. I will go to plan B. / 15x7 front and 15x8 rear Torq thrust D's (?) Should be easier to fit. I'm not planning on modifying suspension short of the drop I beam kit from DJM
Thanks for the input HIO S.!

Wow beautiful rig Cole71.
That combo is sweet.(short bed just like mine) Nice taste, all black - really looks good. But I have to ask, did you upgrade your suspension?
Mustang II, Crown Vic swap, spacers? If not, whats the secret? I would like to use my wheels (new in the box) as I mentioned earlier. But im flexible and can spring for a new set if I have to.
Thanks for your input in advance.

Thanks for the compliment!
Truck is lowered with DJM Dream Beams with a coil cut out of the springs in the front. The rear has a full hanger flip with the helper spring removed.
I opted to re drill my rotors (switched to power discs) and drums and axles.

Good looking rig. I like the Torq thrust Ds! Stock height still looks great. Thanks for your input!
