There is a little copper tang on the inside of the rag joint that bridges the horn pad/bar (a ground signal). And what did I do to my Bump? Well, I backed off the static timing from 12° to 6° BTDC because it was bucking when I get flat-footed. Reset the EFI idle speed, and it's running great with no hesitation. Cleaned the battery posts and terminals with baking soda and water. Applied petroleum jelly judiciously.... I'll switch to an AGM one of these days.
