Rims for a 67 F-100

Post by ElvisKair »

Hello to All,

I will be the proud owner next week of a 1967 Ford F-100 Long Bed.

I know it has 15inch rims but other than that I am in the dark with regards to bolt pattern offsets etc.

My Question is: What information can you all provide me to make a aftermarket rim/wheel purchase and make it the right one? ie How big can I go 15/7 15/8's........ bolt pattern and width 5.5 etc and offset.

Here is what I know today with out the truck in front of me.

It has front disk brakes and drum in the rear and like I stated before 15 inch wheels/rims.

Any help would be appreciated and will help in the search for wheels that better suit my soon to be new sled. :help:

Front disc brakes might be an aftermarket? I am not sure what year they came out with disc.
I have 15" X 8" on mine and I like the look. The bolt pattern is 5 X 5.5.

Here's my 70.

Wheels are 15x7 with 4-inch BS in front wearing 225/70-15 and rears are 15x8 with 4-inch BS wearing 275/60-15. Suspension is -3 in front and -5.5 in back accomplished with DJM beams and a Fatman Fab axle flip, respectively. It sits with a 0.75-inch rake.

Finally got the alignment verified 'perfect' so the ol' girl finally got to wear hubcaps.
