Hi all,
I am wanting to update my plain steel wheels on my 68 F250 4x4 to an alloy wheel of a newer Ford Truck. I know from reading on this site that mid 90's wheels will work so far as bolt pattern goes, however my bump was converted to duals in the rear a long time ago. My question is if the front alloy wheels from a mid 90's F350 Dually will work on the front of my F250? Just looking at the F350 wheels they appear to have a different offset and curious to know if they will work without causing any issues.

Re: Alloy wheel fit
If the front of your truck was not converted to dually (no I don't mean dual tires mounted
) then they will not bolt right up. The front ends are wider. (With 2wd this added width is with the rotor assembly) Not entirely sure on 4x4. Generally with duallys, all six wheels will interchange. Not sure how far back, but I know that with superdutys (99+) dually bolt patterns are different than SRW. Why? I have no idea. You may need to look for SRW front wheels, dually rear.
Hope this helps.
According to Bill (Number Dummy) in another thread, Econoline duallys retained the old bolt pattern up to 2011. So that gives you more options for wheels.

Thank you for your response. That confirms what my research has turned up so far.

You also need to check the bolt pattern carefully. Our trucks are 8 on 6.5" for the hubs, later F250s/F350s are 8 on 170mm (forget which year they switched, possibly 1998 but don't quote me on that). Obviously they are not interchangeable.
