Re: What did you name your truck?
My free-to-me '67 CS was originally called Used Dog Food...as it had been badly repainted in the '70's a terrible, sh*t brown color. Stripped it down to metal, welded up dozens of holes in the body from the original trim (long gone), and painted it Rustoleum Safety Orange with a white roof.
My son immediately christened the truck, Orange Julius.

I call mine, "the truck," because it is a truck...not a sentient being. I do go crazy with my Galaxies, though. I call the red one, "the convertible." The hardtop, I call "the blue one."

My daughter named our truck "Betty", and I don't know why.

"Ole Blu". My older sisters call her Gypsy because when we were growing up, it had a cab over camper in the back, our family visited every national park in the lower 48 in that truck during summer vacations. My father willed her to me before his passing and now I'm restoring her, my family calls her "Ole Blu".

Re: What did you name your truck?
Ratchet ranger is what we call my 67 highboy. And my 69 f100 we call danger ranger. However Ive thought about calling it med express or the ambulance as of late because since I bought it in 2014 after my dads cancer diagnosis it was the mode of transportation to most of his doctors visits and pretty much all of his chemo. Now he made an awsome comeback within 6 months of his diagnosis so we did a lot of cruising and spent some time going fishing and hunting in it so I have some wonderful memories there and it was the last vehicle he ever rode in other than an ambulance. Sadly he passed away on January 15, 2019 5 years and 3 days after his terminal diagnosis. Everytime I hear that engine fire I get emotional because of all the times we spent just burning gas cruising around. Now unfortunately it has been called into service again for my dads youngest brother who now has the same cancer he had. Seems to be the only truck in my entire family that's just the right height to get in and out of for someone with failing health. So no longer is it danger ranger I would say med express or honestly what sounds good to me is dads ride. Rest in peace dad thanks for the memories.

My old girl is just called the bump. It always makes people ask questions which gives me the chance to tell them about my truck.

Re: What did you name your truck?
I initially took to calling it Bonham in honor of the greatest rock drummer of all time. Lately I just call it The 72.
