Re: 1967 F-100 project
Green sales in Cincinnati hooked me up with the corner parts. Here is the inner support mocked in.

Inner support welded in, then the outer corner. Came out really nice. Just have to fab up a piece to cover the side marker light.

Re: 1967 F-100 project
On to the box sides, starting wit the drivers side. So, I attempted to save the rear half of the drivers side. It was pretty pitted on the back side, and the metal was weak in those areas, so I attempted a series of patches. As you can see, it was just a bit much, so, I rolled the dice, and bought the back half box side from LMC. Haven't had a lot of luck with these guys. This wasn't the greatest either, it was going to take some massaging to make it work.

Of course, the stamping was right, so, I had to massage the belt line to fit. This was not fun.

Wanted to install the fuel door, before I welded the bed sides on. Robbed this from a 79. Made a backing plate for it, and marked the hole in the box side.

Re: 1967 F-100 project
cut out the hole, and then made a mount for the filler spout. This one is from a Dodge chassis cab truck. Cut out the hole in the box floor to fit the filler mount. And, yes, I made the damn cut too big on the back side, so I'll be welding some of that metal back in.

Clamped in the fuel door panel and welded it on. Oh, and fix the too-big hole on the back side!

Re: 1967 F-100 project
After resizing the hole in the box floor/side, I made up a cover for it.

Re: 1967 F-100 project
finally time to get one of the box sides back on. Undercoated the back sides of the drivers side, and then applied weld through primer.
