In cab gas tank

Post by Mcyoung4 »

Hello I have a 1970 f100 with the in cab fuel tank. I have a newer motor out of a 1995 ford 6 cyl.
I am trying to find a fuel pump that goes inside the tank. Any suggestions?? :fr:

AFAIK there isn't a fuel pump that fits an in-cab fuel tank. You'll have to do a rear-tank swap and go that route.

Just run an external electric fuel pump does the same thing. If you’re going to keep the FI engine then you’ll need to run a return line back to the tank. If your going to do that take the fuel gauge assembly out of the tank and drill and tap a return line nipple to it and reinsert the fuel gauge assembly back into tank.
