Progress report on the ol' girl

Post by 71f100 »

Just thought I'd whack a couple more pics up of where I am at.
Stupid work keeps getting in the way though so it's slow going. :x
Frustraing coz i'm really hankerin' to get rumbling again.
Though I'm sure my neighbour is enjoying the quiet as opposed to me getting home from work at 1am and rattling the begeezus out of the iron fence.

That looks really slick  You're quite a panel beater. Do you think you can post some closer pics of the dash and the firewall/steering box area? I'm really curious as to how they did the right hand drive on our trucks. Wonder if I could import one of those. One of my Dad's friends brought his 46 Mercury rhd coupe from New Zealand with him when he moved to Canada. Saw a bunch of Western Star trucks being built with the rhd for Australia when I went through the plant in Kelowna, BC (before they moved production to Portland) Sure be interesting to drive one.
