i need some info please
i have a 73 f 100 that came factory with a 360 3 speed i bought a 351 windsor with a c 6 for 125 dollars i swapped engine and tranny out but found out that the c 6 shift linkage is locked up wont move by hand so i was needing to know could i use the 3 speed tranny on the 351w and if so what do i need to get to get it bolted up and the bell housing will it match up since it came from a 360 block the engine runs great it has a 283 cam and lifter set and a four barrel holly carb with vacuum secondaries

Two different engine families, I don't believe they will bolt up without changing the bellhousing on the 3-speed.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

Why not just drop the pan on the C6 and see where the linkage is binding up? It might be something very simple to fix.

well i do need to get other things for the auto to work like tranny cooler and driveshaft im low on funds right now but i guess ill drop pan cause i really want an auto for fuel saving reasons thanks for all yalls info
