Today my dad and I were working on the wiring and after figuring it all out, my 351 Windsor now starts. All I have to do now is a few minor adjustments and should be good to go. It has started up for the first time in 9 years.

Re: My 1972 F-100 Project
What did you fill the seam with, it looks like bondo? I was going to fill mine in with a body filler that is close to the factory stuff, sandable, paintable and so forth. I do not want to weld it, way to much work a simple guy like me.

Re: My 1972 F-100 Project
We used the Gold Bondo, can't remember the exact name of it. I guess its suppose to work better than regular bondo. Getting the seam worked down is the fun part, even I almost lost itFordman5 wrote:What did you fill the seam with, it looks like bondo? Thanks for the info on what you did. I think that I am just going to fill it with a SIM product. I would like to fill the seams its just to much work and to much for me to pay to have it done.

Re: My 1972 F-100 Project
So far I have been finishing the body work such as the tailgate. I also have been working on the wiring and getting it done. I recently bought a C6 Transmission for my truck instead of the FMX I have in my 1972 F-100.
