Lost my Uncle

Post by Thunderfoot »

My Uncle passed away this morning after being in the Hospital sense the day after Christmas, all this time but a week middle of Jan, with Pancreatic issues (not cancer) He was starting to do good first of last week and they even let him go home but that only lasted 3hr before he was back into ICU and then Sat night he started going down hill with fluid on the lungs and he passed this morning... I'm glad he is not suffering anymore but I'm really going to miss him, he was my favorite Uncle and got me into snowmobiling when I was a kid in the 70's... I bought his 40 chevy coupe project from him about 6 yrs ago that he had had sense the late 70's and never did get to it, I was hoping to get to it and get it done before he got to old and passed but that didn't happen. :(
He'll be with my Mom and there sister for now...

Getting older and seeing family and friends pass is taking its toll, this really sucks and is hard to get used to.

I still miss kaptnkaos on here...

Thanks for listening and hope everyone else is doing well...
Shayne

Sorry to hear of the passing of your uncle, Shayne, my sincerest condolences.

And yeah, I have to agree with the above sentiment. It is hard to get used to it, no matter how many times it happens, it never seems to get any easier. Just try to think about the legacy that is left behind, along with the memories.
