Nice truck in the news

Post by TheEskimo »

Nice article on a Bump owner in Napa California, with a beautiful truck. Would love to go down and see this one sometime and get some good pictures. The article seems to be somewhat lacking in the pictures they chose.

I don't like him at all. Didn't look at the truck much. I'm sure it is nice but the article sure doesn't have anything good to say about our trucks nor does the owner. He is quoted as saying
"I thought I’d do something else, make something nice out of an ugly truck"
UGLY TRUCK? He doesn't deserve to own a bump. lol UGLY? They are the prettiest trucks out there.
The shame!

It was a pretty good job for a custom build, but I have to be a bit critical. I would think they could have spent a little time on a proper hood alignment. Its the attention to detail that can make the difference between a good and a great truck.

If people have to ask is it a chevy or ford he is showing it at a kindergarden class. So it don't matter how much money or time he has in it!!!

I think Bumps are good looking trucks, and I really enjoy my 68 CS, but there is something I really love about the Fat Fender Ford Trucks.

I can appreciate that other people have different tastes, but what the f**k did he do to that poor bump?!?!

I have seen drag queens in West Hollywood with less garish face paint.
“All the work that went into it, it has people shaking their heads,” he said amiably. “That’s what makes this fun.”
I heartily approve of spending time and effort on something you enjoy, but this has me shaking my head too. If I read that correctly, it was an unmolested 1970 Camper Special with 10K miles. Such a loss of a beautiful truck; why couldn't he have destroyed one of the shitzillion Chevys littering the country? No one woulda missed those...

He's not a FORD man so I am surprised he kept it all Ford. IF he was a Ford man he wouldn't think the bumps were ugly. lol
