So I get a call today, It was stub hub asking if I authorized the purchase of Rays tickets in the amount of 670 dollars! Some one is allowed to have my information, and use my card but they can't legally tell me who it was because it is a liability. Worst part of all of this is it is most likely someone I know and that I have let into my house, or someone my wife knows. I hope they get hit in the head with a line drive. Oh and the Sheriff's Department can't do anything because we where able to stop the transaction before it went through. Some days I hate this politically correct system. I read somewhere else on here about the hand cutting idea, I think it should be reinstated. It is probably a good thing that they don't tell me a thief is the bottom of the earth, just above a rapist, and child molesters.

I wouldn't be so bad if it was someone I didn't know but if it is someone I know I will be highly more ticked off! But yes the nerve I work hard for my money, as I am sure most everyone does. The worst part I am that give the shirt off of my back to help someone out. I am all the time volunteering my truck or my knowledge on fixing plumbing issues or household issues. If someone needs something I go out of my way. Just down right aggravating!

I have had something similar happen, but I did not stop it in time. Three weeks later, no one had been arrested or even given a warning. But...somehow, it took all of about 0.7 nanoseconds to throw the cuffs on my butt and haul me to the slammer when I went to "ask" for my money back.

Too ironic man! Have a charge on my bank account today, (I'll be at the bank in the AM). These crooks have been calling my home phone trying to get info from me for months now. Somehow they've gotten through my banks security? Unbelievable! Got a feeling I'll be contacting the FTC tomorrow night after work...
Same bank just gave me notice they'll start charging me $4.00 a month to "make money off of my debit card"!
Time to look for another bank...or start diggin' in the backyard, and investing in mason jars!
Hard times, all the low lifes are crawling out of the woodwork!

I bailed out of my bank for that charge as well. I went to a credit union, much like what a bank used to be. Was the charge you got just listed as a number by any chance?
