Highboy to Superduty Chassis
Hey I'm new to this site. I'm planning my next build of a 1970 Highboy Crew Cab Short Bed (with a cummins) and I have some questions. I am looking for the ultimate in driveability and I really like the coil spring suspension under the newer superduty trucks. I have access to a 2006 6.0 chassis (CC LWB) and the price is right. I know I will have to modify the wheel base but how difficult will the rest be? Will the cab mounts come close to the 2006 frame? I'm not scared to do some fabbing here and there but I have my fingers crossed it won't be that bad. Also I know my frame is 34" wide. Does anyone know how wide the 2006 frame is? Give me your thoughts.
