Put non-hardening sealer on the sending unit gasket top and bottom. Also used it on the bolts to seal the threads.
Now I can keep on Trucking without the gas smell. Well at least from the gas tank

Gas smell
Finally got rid of the gas smell from the in cab tank.
Put non-hardening sealer on the sending unit gasket top and bottom. Also used it on the bolts to seal the threads.
Now I can keep on Trucking without the gas smell. Well at least from the gas tank .....John

Another spot is the short rubber hose on the fill tube.

My tank to filler hose started leaking. Drips gas when I pump the gas.. Gonna have to do something about it.
I think it's slightly wider than the usual radiator hose, so don't think I can cut a piece of that.. The actual hose
probably costs out the wazzoo if I order it from one of the old truck parts stores..
