Too many options are a lot more fun then none at all. You have a great truck there Scott, congratulations.

I'd really like to put a set of factory wheels and caps back on..1971ford wrote:you could armor-all those tires while your at it too
i think it would make another big difference
The next choice would be Aluminum 5 Spoke that LMC has in there catalog..
So if anyone wants to trade a set of wagons for stock, let me know.
Hey Ryan, did you notice the spare tire?? Look to be the original "GoodYear". The rim is dated 72.
I'll post a pic later.

I have 4 8 lug steel wheels left over from my '96. They are 8 lug. I understand they would fit, but they would not be ''correct''.

The 96 wheels are 16" aren't they??
Here's a couple pics of the spare.. I'd love the get a set of these new..
Good Year Hi Miler Wide tread 9.50x16.5
Engines just about ready to go back in.
But can't put a clean engine back in here...
So time to clean and paint.. Looks like I'll have to pull the grille to.. Can't leave this..

I didn't realize you had 16.5s. Oh well. If you want to go 16" I've got 4.

re: 72 Ranger XLT C/S from cali..
Thanks for the offer Steve.
Going to 16" may not be a bad idea as there are a lot more options for tires..
But for now, I'll use what I got..
Just can't see why someone would change out the stock wheels for white wagons

Convincor, I've got 16.5 wheels on a parts truck if you're interested.
