I love driving my truck and enjoy the feeling of satisfaction every upgrade or repair gives me. A newer vehicle, or a more economical one, is within my budget, but I love my bump. Think long and hard before you sell it, you don't want to regret seeing those taillights the last timing when it is driving away.
That is my problem it is like a drug. I own a company and I have over 15 pickups in the fleet. But if you give me the chocie of my 07 F350 diesel or the bump. The bump wins. Customers love it when I pull up to their location in the bump. Also as stated sure you can buy one cheap but how much do you need to put into it? In the end it is up to you and don't worry you will second guess yourself either way after you are done. :D As an example in 81 someone offered me $1,100.00 for a pristine Hemi motor with under 30K miles and I sold it. At the time I thought it was a killing, in retrospect it was a blunber of a momental size

There was a running Dodge (dart I think, can't remember) that had a 426 Hemi in it that just sold around here for $3200. We found out about it a week late or so :(

That's actually the second time we've missed a 426 Hemi car for cheap. There was one a few years ago that a widow had, it was her husbands. We talked to her a couple days after she sold it, she said,

"Oh I don't know, it was some four twenty something or other Hi-may? I don't know much about cars. This nice man told me he would get it out of my garage for me, and pay me $1,000 for it."

I think it's a bit of a dick thing to do to take advantage of a widow like that. He should have at least given her $3,000 or something. I don't know the condition of the car, but even non-running with a 426 it's worth that.

Have you decided to keep the Bump now, or still deciding?

If it has sentimental value to it that will make it hard to part with. I just got offered 20k for my green 68 and I turned it down. I'm having to much fun with it even tho that is about what I have in it. I guess I turned it down because I sold my 95 F150 that was fully customized a few years ago and have regretted it ever since. The way I look at it if the guy wants my green truck bad enough he will wait. He already has bought 2 of my done up mustangs in the past with cash so I know he is for real.
